A 20-year-old Wallaceburg man is going back to jail after two people broke into an apartment complex early this morning.
Chatham-Kent police say a citizen called police about 1:15 a.m. after seeing a young person slip through a laundry room window and into the Wallace Street apartment complex. The youth then opened a door to allow a man to enter the building.
Police arrived on scene and found both suspects. Police say officers learned the man was bound by release conditions that state he must reside at one of two specific addresses. Neither is in Wallaceburg, but rather in Chatham and Thamesville.
Police escorted a 16-year-old girl home, while the Wallaceburg man faces charges of being in possession of break-in instruments and failing to comply.
