If you love purses – and what female over the age of five doesn’t – the fundraiser for you is happening April 12 in Chatham.
The Zonta Club of Chatham-Kent and the Chatham-Kent Public Library are teaming up to raise funds for library materials that will promote and assist women in their daily lives. This unique event is being held at the Cultural Centre Studio One from 2-4 p.m.
The cost of the event is $25 and includes five raffle tickets for the opportunity to win one of a variety of unique purses, approximately 20 in total, according to Chief Librarian Tania Sharpe. All of the different types of purses are being donated by local merchants.
Tickets are available at all library branch locations in Chatham-Kent.
