The Chatham-Kent Museum is presenting a unique historical perspective on venereal disease with “Syphilis: A Love Story” on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at Studio One of the Cultural Centre.
According to a Museum release, the presentation will focus on the fact that human beings have always had a love of dangerous behaviour, and a capacity for self-destruction unlike any other creature in the animal kingdom.
The lecture will take place in Studio One at 75 William St. N., in Chatham, with a cost of $12 in advance, and $15 at the door. Register by calling 519-354-8338, by visiting the Chatham Cultural Centre Box Office, or by visiting www.cktickets.com.
