Women in Chatham-Kent will gather Oct. 10 to raise money for the women of Haiti.
The evening event takes place at 6 p.m. at Country View Golf Course and Country club. Ticket price is $60, and includes dinner.
There will also be a cash bar and silent auction.
“This event is being held by a group of women who want to help other women. This is our inaugural event and we hope it is a huge success,” Gert McClure, one of the event organizers said in a release.
Proceeds from the evening will go to Rayjon, which will in turn deliver to communities in need.
