The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is hosting its fifth in a series of community development forums on Sept. 16 in council chambers at 6 p.m. and you’re invited.
Focusing on sustainability, the one-hour presentation will feature municipal Chief Administrative Officer Don Shropshire and general manager of corporate services Gerry Wolting. The pair will lead the discussion and will also present three reports for consideration of Committee of the Whole: 2014 budget, 2014 municipal election and the ongoing service review.
The forum will explain sustainability, discuss how Chatham-Kent is doing, and look at next steps.
The event will televised live on TV Cogeco and the public can attend in person, follow on Twitter using hash tag #CKsustain or on TV Cogeco’s Facebook page.
sometimes I think that if I hear the word *sustainability* one more time, ill develop a tumour. the only sustainability that matters is how much the taxpaying public can *sustain* paynig for pet projects and other useless adventures our administrators see fit to saddle us with.
one should always study Agenda 21 when trying to understand 'sustainability'
definitely has gone from conspiracy theory to conspiracy fact in the last decade.
