Less than a day after they found a driver with three times the legal blood-alochol limit, Chatham-Kent OPP nabbed another one, this time with nearly twice the legal limit in his bloodstream.
OPP say they received a traffic complaint about erratic driving on the eastbound 401 near Merlin Town Line – the same area where the previous say’s driver was also spotted. The latest complaint was called in about 1:43 a.m. this morning.
Police pulled over the car, say the driver showed signs of impairment and gave him a roadside test. He blew nearly twice the legal limit.
A Fort Erie man is charged with impaired driving and speeding.
This arrest came about 16 hours after a Cottam woman was charged in connection with a similar driving complaint.
