Sitting in a stolen truck

A Leamington man faces charges from Chatham-Kent police and the OPP after being scooped up while inside a stolen pickup truck on Monday.

Police say an officer spotted the stolen truck on Stewart Street in Tilbury.

It was occupied.

A 27-year-old Leamington man is charged with possession of stolen property.

Further investigation revealed the man was wanted on warrants for the same charge, both by local police and the OPP.

ATVs stolen

Police are on the lookout for ATV thieves in the wake of a recent theft of two from a Dresden home.

Sometime overnight between Sunday and Monday, someone made off with two Honda ATVs that were parked at a home on Jackson Street in Dresden.
