Chatham-Kent police were able to clear another outstanding warrant yesterday in Chatham.
Just before 1:00 p.m., police were told a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his release conditions was at the Richmond Street Pharmacy.
As officers arrived, the man fled through a back door. Officers followed the man down Harvey Street where he ran into the backyard of a residence. The Chatham-Kent Police would like to thank this homeowner, who assisted police in apprehending the man.
The 35-year-old Blenheim man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
