Come join us at The Chatham Legion, corner of William & Colborne St. Chatham from 11:00 a.m.– 9:30 p.m. Supper will be served from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.  No orders after 5:30 p.m. Tonight’s special is Roast Beef with potatoes $15.00(HST included) or Fish & Chips, $14.00(HST included). Hang out and have a chat, have a coffee, do your homework, ask a question, read a book, or find out about our programs and upcoming events. No RSVP needed! Come & go as you please. All ages & allies welcome. 11am-2pm.

• It’s fright night once again for our second summer ghost walk. We return to one of the most haunted areas of Chatham leaving from the parking lot of the Chatham Cultural Centre at 7:30 and 8:00 pm. Hear stories of accidents, seances, suicides, renovation heebie jeebies, freezing cold and invisible encounters that will have you looking under the bed when you get home. Sunday, July 27, 2025:
• Dresden Christian Concerts at Rotary Park, Dresden (St. George St near St. John St.) Rain Location is St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, St. George & St. John). Verscheure Worhsip Team will play at 6:30pm. Drive-in/Outdoor concert – bring your lawnchair.

•  Vox Vinyl comes back to the Two Creeks stage at 6 pm. 1km north of Wheatley. Solid female voices blending in three part harmony, backed by some of the area’s best musicians. Carol Kerr, Christine Chemelle and Rochelle Day bring you all the hits of the girl bands from the 60’s to today. No admission, but we do pass the hat. There is a huge pavilion in case of rain. Food and drink from the Scouts. Lots of convenient parking.

• Merlin Legion Classic Country Jamboree from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm followed by a Sparerib dinner for only $15. So with entry $20 total. No Frills meal & Hamburgers also available. • Join us for CK Pride’s Pride Dance Party Night at JazzBah 270 King Street West, Chatham, on August 8th at 9 PM, featuring DJ Courtney Wells and themed drinks to celebrate Pride Week. Entrance is $5 at the door or free with a Theatre Gargantua Sidestream Festival ticket—dance the night away and enjoy the festive atmosphere!

• CK Pride’s Faith with Pride Group is hosting a special meetup at Bill’s Place 48 Centre Street, Chatham at 11am to watch and discuss the United Church of Canada’s public apology on “Ongoing and Past Harm to 2SLGBTQIA+ Communities.” Bring your lunch, enjoy a coffee and let’s come together to reflect and work towards healing. Whether you’re part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community or an ally, your voice matters!

• The Chatham-Kent YMCA in turning 80 in 2025!  Please help us celebrate an eight decade-long legacy of growth, connection, and impact.  Plan to join us on August 8 for our anniversary celebration at Sons of Kent’s backyard event space.  Music by DTX and Superfly.  There will be food trucks and lots of fun and friendship.  Gates open at 5:30. Monday, August 11, 2025:
• Join CK Pride at 12 PM at the Civic Centre, 315 King St, Chatham, for our annual Pride Flag Raising to kick off Pride Week and celebrate love, diversity, and inclusion. Pride Weeks in Canada, held in August, commemorate the 1971 “We Demand” Rally in Ottawa, Canada’s first large-scale gay rights demonstration—come out and show your support!

• Join us at 7:00 PM at Bill’s Place in Chatham for a Community Forum: “Gay, Gray, & Paved the Way” with Dale Glover, focusing on identity, activism, and history. This event, part of CK Pride’s Pride Week, offers an opportunity to connect, share, and learn together.

• Join us at 5 PM at Bill’s Place, 48 Centre St., Chatham, for an all-ages Rainbow Storytime hosted by CK Public Library, followed by a free ice cream social hosted by the Outrageous Wise Ladies Group. Everyone is welcome to enjoy stories and sweet treats with family and friends!

• Join us from 11 AM to 1 PM at Fuel for You, 80 William St. S. in Chatham for a CK Pride Fundraising BBQ, featuring delicious hotdogs, burgers, cheeseburgers, and combo deals to support a great cause.  Join CK Pride for a community bonfire on Wednesday, August 13, from 9-11 PM , where attendees can enjoy roasting marshmallows and hotdogs under the stars while celebrating love, community, and Pride Week.
