Organized children’s sports a must

Editor: When I drove by primary schools when children were in school, there were always groups of children playing together in the schoolyard and groups walking home, all without masks.
But children will not be allowed to play any sports as a team until Step Three of the provincial reopening plan. This is ridiculous!

Kids need to interact with their peers and have some fun.

So, instead, kids will still gather in groups without supervision or any of the safety protocols minor sport groups have developed.

If we want to help our children, let’s be practical and let them become active and have some fun. If there are no minor sports this year again, there may not be any next year as the organizations will not be able to survive.
