The COVID-19 curve continues to look more like a wave in Chatham-Kent.

On Monday, Chatham-Kent Public Health reported 39 active cases. Fourteen of those cases were new, however, 11 cases were resolved.

Three more C-K residents were admitted to hospital locally battling the virus. That brings the total to five.

Local numbers remain low, but elsewhere cases are plentiful, although Ontario did report a slight drop this morning confirming 3,436 new cases.

On Saturday officials reported 3,369 cases and 3,732 on Sunday.

Ontario’s rolling seven-day average now stands at 3,577 down from 3,917 recorded at the same point last week.

The Greater Toronto Area, including the City of Toronto, continues to see heavy community spread of the virus.
