Shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night, police responded to an assault on Orchard Heights.
The victim reported that his neighbour entered his apartment uninvited, uttered threats and assaulted him with a casserole dish.
As the officers apprehended the man, he resisted arrest and assaulted an officer.
Concerned for his physical and mental well-being, the man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.
The 18-year-old Chatham man is facing charges of unlawfully in a dwelling house, assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief under $5000 and assault police officer.
