When you go to a pharmacy to fill a prescription, it’s best to have a doctor actually fill out that script.
That apparently wasn’t the case yesterday morning in Chatham. Police say a man and woman popped by a pharmacy on Grand Avenue West with individual hand-written prescriptions.
The prescriptions looked sketchy, so the pharmacy tech contacted the doctor that was purported to have penned them, police say. Nope.
Police arrived and arrested a man, 41, and woman, 30, charging them with uttering a forged document.
