Sir: A recent study shows Chatham-Kent as having a very high rate of obesity. This comes as no surprise as C-K is the only municipality that removes trees without replacing them; has no plan to protect or increase tree cover; and lacks bicycle lanes, walking paths and treed parks.
Council refuses to connect our poor environment and our poor health.
They ignore countless costly studies and with their inaction endanger the health of every citizen.
