A thief made off with booze after breaking into a Chatham restaurant.

This morning at 5:00 a.m. police responded to an alarm at Crabby Joe’s Bar and Grill on Grand Ave. W. in Chatham.  Upon arrival, officers found two glass doors had been broken.  Through investigation, officers learned that approximately $1,000 worth of liquor bottles had been stolen.  Damage was estimated at $2000.

Police believe the suspect had a tattoo on his right arm and was wearing a dark hoodie and light coloured shorts.
