The Minor PeeWee’s were in Toronto for the Warrior Shanahan tournament this past weekend with 4 games on hand in order to advance to Sunday’s quarter finals.
In the first game, they met the Buffalo Jr Sabres and took a commanding 4-1 after two periods.  But Buffalo answered with 4 third period goals which forced the Cyclones to buckle down just to squeeze out a tie by Brady Stonehouse with only a minute left to play.
Scoring came from: Veccia, Graham (x3) and Stonehouse.  Zander Veccia also had 2 assists in the game.

In game 2 of the Cyclones faced the Central Ontario Wolves in a close match and were successful in holding onto a 2-1 lead for the entire second half of the game.
Scoring came from: Ayden Blain from Brad McAlpine.  Ryan Gagner unassisted.

Going into game 3 in a tough pool of teams, it was clear the Cyclones had to win the rest of their games in order to advance into Sunday rounds.
An early morning game against Valley Forge Minutemen was another tight one but the Cyclones turned a 1-1 tie in the first into a 3-1 final.
Scoring came from: Colin Holmes, Cameron Graham and Cameron Gardiner.
Assisting on those goals were: Owen Reeve, Kelton Jack and Zander Veccia

After a long wait all day, the Cyclones finally got back to the ice in game 4 of the tournament against Richmond Hill Coyotes.
The Cyclones found themselves trailing majority of the game and 3-0 going into the third period.  But they did not quit and made it a one goal game only to see an empty net goal end the Cyclones quest into Sunday.  Final score was a loss 5-3.
Scoring came from: Colin Holmes, Owen Reeve and Kelton Jack.
Assists on those goals came from: Colin Holmes and Cameron Graham (2)
