Pat Paddon, left, and Mary Rekker of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Joe’s Parish prepare the latest serving of potatoes for their Thanksgiving lunch crowd of more than 150 people Friday at St. Joe’s Hall, while Entegrus CEO Jim Hogan and corporate communications specialist Sarah Regnier take a moment to appreciate the sheer volume of food involved in such a luncheon.

Entegrus and its employees donated money and manpower to the luncheon, as well as boxes of non-perishable food items for the food bank that operates out of St. Joe’s Hall on Wellington Street.

Paddon said the support of Entregrus staff was “fantastic. It’s very nice to have them work with us in the community like this.”

Hogan credits the Entegrus employees for taking the lead on getting involved.

“The staff wanted to do something a little extra this year,” he said.

Entegrus personnel help out with the weekly soup kitchen on a regular basis, especially over the summer, Paddon said.
